Mooney Acclaim Type S
Fractional Ownership Now Available
Fractional ownership has become increasingly popular in the general aviation industry.
Simply put, an individual or organization purchases a partial interest in an aircraft
that is managed by an aviation company. The individual owners then have the right to
use any comparable aircraft in the fleet, on demand, for a predetermined number of
hours each year. In general, fractional ownership is said to be for those who fly
between 50 and 200 hours per year.
Fractional ownership has played a significant role in revitalizing the general aviation
manufacturing industry since the late 1990s, and most manufacturers actively support
fractional ownership programs.
